Step one
Pick your length
A new set takes longer the longer you go. These are the times for a typical set; art adds more, and we tell you before we start.
Short
Right at the fingertip. A good fit for typing, studying, cooking and work.
New set: about 75 min
Fill: about 60 min
Medium
Just past the fingertip, with room for a design or a longer shape.
New set: about 90 min
Fill: about 60 min
Long
Well past the fingertip. Worth planning your day around, and a good one for a night out.
New set: about 105 min
Fill: about 60 min
Step two
Pick your shape
Shape is how the tip is cut and filed. Each one adds its own few minutes on top of the length you chose.
Square
A flat tip with straight sides. Strong, and the simplest to file.
Adds no time
Squoval
Square, with the corners softened. Easy to live in and easy on sweaters.
Adds about 5 min
Almond
Tapers to a soft, rounded point. It lengthens the look of the fingers.
Adds about 10 min
Ballerina
A long taper that ends in a flat tip. Also called coffin.
Adds about 15 min

How the time adds up
- 01
Step 1: Length

- 02
Step 2: Shape
Your shape adds a few minutes on top, from none for square to about fifteen for ballerina.
- 03
Step 3: Art
Each hand-painted nail adds about five minutes. We tell you the total before we start.
Not sure?
Pick at the table
Bring a picture, or just tell us what you do all day. We will suggest a length and a shape and tell you the time.
